Waves for detection and exploration

Description

Earlier in this topic, we discussed at length the many uses to which each of the seven main types of transverse electromagnetic waves can be put.  In this video, we’ll go on to discuss the properties of two different types of longitudinal waves – sound waves and seismic waves – and some of the fascinating ways in which they’re used.

Please note that this topic will be examined in the higher tier papers only.
