Work done

In physics, when we say that work is done, we mean that energy is transferred within a system.  When an object does work, it means that energy is transferred away from the object.  When work is done on an object, energy is transferred to it.

In this important video, we’ll be looking at what energy is, the various ways in which it can be stored, and how it can be transferred between different types of energy stores.  We’ll then go on to look at a number of key energy equations which will be used both in this topic and throughout the entire course.
