Momentum 2



In this video, we’ll develop the idea of momentum further.  We’ll begin by discussing how the Principle of Conservation of Momentum allows us to work out what will happen when two (or more) objects interact with one another (in a collision or explosion, for example), before going on to discuss how the link between the rate at which the momentum of an object is changed and the force exerted on it has important implications in the design of a number of safety systems.

Please note that this topic will only be examined in the higher tier papers.
