Description

This video introduces non-communicable diseases and how lifestyle often has a drammatic influence on the incidence of such diseases. Data on these diseases often demonstrates a correlation between the disease and certain risk factors such as smoking, but they do not necessarily support a causation. This video aims to distinguish between correlation and causation and it also aims to demonstrate that most communicable diseases result from the interaction of a variety of risk factors.
